I want to acknowledge Lana's exceptional leadership as the Chairperson of the Mission Committee of SCBC from 2019 to 2022, especially during the difficult times of the Covid pandemic. Her message to the missionaries in the August 2021 issue of SCBC Upper Room deeply touched me, particularly the phrase "But even if He does not" from Daniel 3:18, which resonated profoundly. Lana's message reminded me to trust God's plan no matter the challenges we face. I am grateful for her dedication to spreading the gospel and embodying the fruit of the Spirit. Her patience, gentleness, and other remarkable qualities fill us with encouragement. Lana, thank you for your impactful work. As John 15:11 says, "That your joy may be complete." Your efforts bring joy to others and yourself. May Lana's journey continue to inspire and uplift others along the way.
I am sorry to hear the loss of Lana. May God comfort Lana's love ones and give them peace!
My dear sister Lana, your leaving is so sudden. No one is ever expecting this. You have rested your labor on earth finally. Blessed are the dead who die in Lord. I believe, you are blessed. I will, and many of us will too, miss your smile, services, and virtues which you demonstrated to people, the church, and the community.
Love in our Lord!
