In memory of

Lammel Ricketts

May 18, 1937 -  November 28, 2018

Sadly on November 28th, 2018 Lammel Ricketts passed away in his home. He is predeceased by his brothers and sisters; Jimmy, Icema, Ellick, Victor, Meirkle, Beryl, Glen, Max Iron, and leaves behind his loving sisters Gloria and Betty. Caring spouse to Deloris, Adoring Father to Marcia, Dianna, Jacqueline, Karen and cherished Grandfather to Camille, Adam, Austin and Justus. Lammel will be missed by his extended family and friends.
Lammel dedicated 32 years to the Central YMCA and he lived his life committed to the service of others in their time of need. As demonstrated through his receipt of the 1997 Canadian Citizenship Award for Outstanding Community Service. He will always be remembered as a friend and counsellor to all.

In his spare time, Lammel enjoyed the thrill, excitement and comradarie of golfing and horse racing.

Lammel understood that "too often, we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.”
He impacted many lives and he will be greatly missed by all.
