Sister Lalaine, lola, madame, ninang, tita, mars or just Lalaine, she was a confidant, auntie, grandma, godmotherr, advisor, or simply a friend to many. Back in the days before brother Ricky came to Canada , she was one of the famed Darwin's angels along with Alona and Leslie. One time, she attended an event that I was involved in to provide some support together with my family and friends. After the event at the spur of the moment, we just decided to spend the weekend somewhere. We strolled the night outside, literally laughed out loud, went on an eating spree the following day and simply enjoy each other's company. This was followed by more trips to other places, more laughters and obviously more eating. I discovered that she had a big appetite. Lakas kumain. She was also a comic. She had a natural way of making people laugh without really trying hard. At the same time, she was also very thoughtful and had genuine concern for her friends and family. I am sure people can attest to this. There were so many memories that I can remember her by. But I would just stick to the obvious - that she was a true friend to me and a sister in Christ. I remember she always said, "di kita makakalimutan kasi ikaw nag ampon sa amin when nobody would". I am sure there were others too but for me, the pleasure was mine. Thank God for your life and for the friendship. My family and I will never forget you.

She brought so much joy and happiness to my family and I cherish the moments we had together. I will never forget how caring and loving she had been to my kids. she introduced “nanay and tatay” instead of calling mom and dad and kids wont forget it. She loved and cared for my kids physically and spiritually.
I will never forget the times we spent on th beach back and forth from Pickering to Oshawa. We exchanged photos as she loved sunrise and sunset. The last moment we had just feeling the wind the silence of the lake and feeling the breeze made her so relaxed. How I wish we can still go back but you are all memories now and I will cherish that forever. I miss you ate . I love you. you are now at home with the Lord. Till we meet again

We still can't believe you're gone, we feel sad. It hurts to lose. But God has a reason. Those special memories of you will always bring a smile, if only we could have you back for just a little while then we could sit and talk again just like we used to do. You're always here in our hearts and mind, the fact that you're no longer here, but you're forever in my heart until we meet again. We truly miss you and keep you in our hearts. May you rest in peace with the Lord God.

I never got a chance to meet tita lalaine, but I know one thing for sure is that she cares for all of the people in their family. I've felt that especially on how she cares for my child. Tita, I feel so sad because I was waiting for you to come home. I was excited for Georgina to meet her Lola. I was excited to finally meet you. Ang bilis ng pangyayari, sana nakalaro mo pa si Georgina, sana naturuan mo pa siya about sa Bible. You were generous and always praying for other people. Now we are all praying for you, we know that you are now in the safe place. No more pain or sadness. The thought of it makes our heart at ease. Restwell Tita Lalaine. We promise you that Georgina will remember you until she grows up. We will miss you.

Mamimiss kita Lalaine, I love you always.
