In memory of

Lai San Ho

May 20, 1920 -  October 2, 2020

Lai San Ho, at the age of 100, peacefully passed away on October 2, 2020.

Lai San Ho was born in Shun Tak, China on May 20, 1920. She migrated to Hong Kong in her 20s, and met her beloved husband, Chan Kam (deceased), a well-known hairdresser in Hong Kong. They built a wonderful life together in Wan Chai, and grew a big family of ten children. Lai San was a loving mother, wife, Popo, Mama, Tai Po, Tai Ma, and Mother-in-Law. She was so elegant, caring, considerate, kind, gentle, and was well-respected by her relatives and friends. Throughout her life, she personally took care of many grandchildren, taking them to dim sum, grocery shopping, and parks. In the latter part of her long life, she followed her youngest daughter, Kitty, to Canada in 1990, where she helped raise Kitty and Andy's (Son-in-Law) children, Cindy and Winnie. In 2010, Lai San became a Christian at Don Mills Baptist Church. She is survived by seven children, thirteen grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren.

Lai San is remembered to always have a smile on her face and she is known for her sincerity and gentleness. We will miss her dearly.
