It is with great sadness that the family of Lai Ha Chiu announce her passing on May 2, 2017. Lai Ha was born on February 2, 1935 in Guangdong, China. She married her husband Foo Leung Chiu in Hong Kong on August 10, 1960 and came to Canada with her family in June 1969. Loving mother to Linda (Allen), Judy, Susan (Winston), and Keith (Shirley). Beloved grandmother who adored her grandchildren Samantha, Calvin, Christina, Colin, Mark, Serena and Tyler.

We will miss her gentle loving nature, her generosity and hospitality, and her delicious nine course meals.

Friends and family are invited to attend the funeral service at York Cemetery and Funeral Centre:

Wednesday, May 10, 2017
Visitation from 9:00am to 10:00am
Service from 10:00am to 11:00am
Burial service 11:30am
Reception to follow.
