It is with great sadness that the family of Labieno Furtado announces his passing, with his family by his side, on April 24, 2021, at the age of 59. He had a smile for all and a heart of gold. His kindness and love for his family and friends was never-ending.

He lived his life seeing the good in everyone and always wishing the best for those around him. He was selfless, generous and hardworking. He faced all his challenges with a positive attitude and strength seen in no other.

He was born to parents Aurelio and Lucinda (pre deceased), on June 29, 1961. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 34 years, Margarida and his sons Andrew and James (pre deceased). Labieno will also be fondly remembered by his brothers and sisters, Natalia, Guida, Maria de Fatima, Lucinda, Aurelio, Valdemar, Fernando (pre deceased) and Jose Paulo.

There came a gentle call, he took the hand of the God and quietly left us all and although we cannot hold him, we will never let him go, because in our hearts he will live forever, because he is loved so.
