In memory of

Kyeong Cho

January 17, 1960 -  December 10, 2016

Kyeong Ja Cho, surrounded by family, passed away on December 10, 2016 after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Kyeong was a loving wife and life-partner to Richard Kennelly, a proud mother to Michael Kennelly, little sister to Doo Sang (Helen) Cho and Yoo Sang (Peter) Kong and caring sister-in-law to Michael (Marjorie) Kennelly. Kyeong was particularly proud of her nine nieces and nephews and their partners (Adam, Brian (Mirka), Alexander (Saqi), Chris (Jenn), Sarah (Wyatt), Andrew (Joanna), Shannon, Matthew, Colleen) whom she showered with love, support and generosity while taking great pride in their many accomplishments. Kyeong was predeceased by her parents Dr. Han Cheul and Young Hi Cho.

An educator for 30 years as a teacher and principal, Kyeong dedicated herself to supporting staff and providing the best outcomes for all students.

Kyeong was a beautiful, caring and generous soul who valued family and friendship above all else. She loved to laugh and used laughter to bring joy into the lives of others right up to the very end. Her giving nature, kindness, empathy, determination, and confidence were empowering and admirable.

To have Kyeong in your life was a true blessing. She will be greatly missed and remembered by family, friends, colleagues, and students.

In lieu of flowers a donation to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.

The family would like to thank all of the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff at Sunnybrook and Humber River hospitals who cared for Kyeong throughout her five and half year fight.
