One of Alex’s aunts is my mother’s paternal grandmother. Although the blood ties are distant, the friendship of Alex, his beloved wife Grace, and their 5 children has been very important to my entire family. Separate from the blood relationship, Alex was my dad’s best friend—co-scholars and co-business partners. My mother Lily, my siblings and their spouses, my husband, and all of my children, nephews and nieces express gratitude and joy for having known Alex (“Hen-sook”) and express our deepest sympathies to his family.
