On June 8th 2019 at 8:55AM, Kwai-Yung (Daisy) Ng passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones at Scarborough General Hospital. At just 67 years of age, her life was taken too soon. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
A beloved wife of Kai-Wah (Richard) Ng, cherished mother of Julie and Darren, and sister to Shirley, Pak-Yung, Pak-Wing, and Rosanna.

Born in Hong Kong, Daisy was sent to Jamaica to help out with the family business. It was here where she met and married her husband, and together immigrated to Toronto, Canada in 1975. As a factory worker for Ford Electronics, Daisy worked tirelessly to provide for herself and her family.

After retiring from Ford, Daisy spent her days cooking and gardening. Her small backyard garden was home to countless vegetables, herbs and flowers. She was always more than willing to share the fruits of her labour with family and friends.

Diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer in 2012, she fought bravely through radiation treatments and targeted cancer therapy. She never let her treatments bring her down, living her life like before.

Visitation will be held at Elgin Mills Funeral Centre, 1591 Elgin Mills Road East, on June 14th from 4PM-8PM. A funeral service will also be held at Elgin Mills Funeral Centre on June 15th from 9AM-11AM. Witnessing will occur at 11:30AM. There will be a lunch open to visitors following the witnessing, details provided in person.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation for their continued support in memory of Daisy.
