In memory of

Krishnakumar Telang

March 7, 1940 -  September 5, 2017

Mr. Krishnakumar Telang (March 7, 1940 -Sept 5, 2017)

Krishnakumar Telang, 77, loving husband, proud father, grandfather and retired teacher with the Toronto District School Board passed away peacefully at home on Sept 5, 2017 surrounded by family.

Dad’s passions in life were his family, gardening and teaching. He was devoted to ensuring that his children had a solid education and a strong work ethic. He began his career teaching in Northern Quebec with the Department of Defence, and subsequently moved to Toronto, eventually retiring with the TDSB. After his family, his greatest love was his Shihtzu, Emma.

He is survived by his wife Neena and by their children Harshad (Birubi Biman), Indrayani Bhargava (Nalin), Rohini Ferguson (Mark) and Deepali Mani (Mahesh). His grandchildren were his pride and joy: Akshyn, Nisha, Kishan, Karina, Caitlyn, Shailen, Dhiren, Amber and Tesh.

He was predeceased by his parents, Anandrao and Anandi Telang and by his nephew Kiran.
Dad leaves behind two sisters, Chhaya and Asha as well as two brothers, Manohar and Ulhas, in India. He leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews and a large extended family in Canada, India and the US.

A private funeral service was held as per his wishes and in lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Humane Society would be appreciated.
