August 8, 1966 - January 8, 2021

Koren passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle against cancer.

Lovingly remembered and missed by her husband Wayne of 15 years, and their children: Jade (Frank) and Kody (Christine). As well as her parents, Leung (Roy) [deceased], Ngan (Jean) and siblings, Jasmine, Lena (Dana), Fern (Ken), Livian (Peter), Helen (Stephen), and Christopher.

Koren spent her early years assisting her parents in growing their family business before dedicating years of service as a dispatcher for Toronto Hydro. Despite her hard work and commitment to her career, she will always be remembered most for her love for her family and kind heart towards everyone she met.

Koren Young-Cooper meant a lot to me as she did to very many people. She will be severely missed. I am forever grateful to her for bringing her beautiful daughter; Jade Meaghan Wood into my life. She will forever be missed and a part of my childhood memories forever. I know she is resting peacefully and looking down on her family with love and admiration.
