Konstantinos Petrakis also known by friends as Kostas or Gus peacefully passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025, at the age of 78 at his home in Scarborough, ON. He was born on January 1, 1947, in Greece.

Gus was a man who found joy in the simple things: a quiet day fishing, summer weekends at the cottage, tending to his vegetable garden and the laughter of his grandchildren who were the light of his life. His warm spirit, generous heart, and gentle wisdom will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Soula, his children, Vickie (Donato), Joanna (Nader) and Angelo (Laura) and his grandchildren, Nicholas. Ariana and Isabella.

You were a good man who left us far too early. You were a good husband, loving father and adoring grandfather. Our hearts are broken. The devastation of your loss leaves a void in us all. We know you’ll find paradise and watch over us closely. We welcomed your memories and past antics. The stories we remember of your life are filled with laughter and joy, and we cherish those memories with open hearts. To be loved by you was a blessing. We will miss you dearly. Your pain is no more and that brings us comfort. We love you dad. Until we meet again rest in peace.
