In memory of

Konstantinos (Gus) Damianakos

February 18, 1932 -  August 21, 2020

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce Kostandinos (Gus) Damianakos passed away peacefully on Friday August 21, 2020 surrounded by his family.

Loving husband of Kali (nee Kastris) Damianakos. Beloved father of Penny, Effie, Katherine and Peter (Mary). Cherished Grandfather of Kallie and Dean.

Brother of Helen, Voula (Koutakos), Pareskevi (Grivas), Georgia (Papadoliakos), Elefteria (Vamvakitis) and his late brothers Nick and John. Brother-in-law of Sofia (Dounias), Sotiria (Fragiadakis), his late brother-in-laws Vasili, Kosta and Christos. He leaves behind his many nieces and nephews.

Konstandinos was predeceased by his parents Vasili Damianakos and Panagiota Giannakos.

Our father was warm and welcoming, and incredibly hardworking who loved spending time with his family. His other great passion was his garden. He had a wonderful sense of humour and there was no better person to watch a hockey game with.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the UHN Peter Munk Cardiac Centre (Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation) or a charity of your choice.
