In memory of

Kock Chee Lo

October 20, 1929 -  July 25, 2022

Kock Chee Lo (盧國柱)was born on October 20, 1929 in Dongguan, China. He married Miu Ha Wu in 1951 and together they had seven children: Lawrence, Sarah, Doris, Louis, Leseley, Leo and Betty. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his extended family, on July 25, 2022 at Scarborough Grace Hospital after three years of living with lung cancer. He is survived by his loving wife and children, as well as his 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

He is remembered as an even-tempered and supportive father and husband, as well as a successful business owner. He loved cars and his children fondly remember piling into his Morris for late night meals in Hong Kong. In Canada, this became a Volvo sedan which he drove for day trips to the beaches.

He will be greatly missed by his family. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 am (visitation 9:30-10:30) on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Gathering Hall, Elgin Mills Cemetery Funeral Centres (1591 Elgin Mills Road East, Richmond Hill, ON).

DAVID LeFeaver (My business partners father.)

Entered August 6, 2022 from Vancouver

Mr. Lo was my partner Lawrence’s father. We shared happy times in Hong Kong where I was treated to many fine meals. I was part of the welcoming team on his arrival to Canada to help with all the luggage on his permanent transition to his new home. Although I spoke no Chinese I saw in him a kind and loving husband and father. Sending along our family’s sincere condolences to his wife and children and their families. David/Merike and family.
