Kock Chee Lo (盧國柱）was born on October 20, 1929 in Dongguan, China. He married Miu Ha Wu in 1951 and together they had seven children: Lawrence, Sarah, Doris, Louis, Leseley, Leo and Betty. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his extended family, on July 25, 2022 at Scarborough Grace Hospital after three years of living with lung cancer. He is survived by his loving wife and children, as well as his 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

He is remembered as an even-tempered and supportive father and husband, as well as a successful business owner. He loved cars and his children fondly remember piling into his Morris for late night meals in Hong Kong. In Canada, this became a Volvo sedan which he drove for day trips to the beaches.

He will be greatly missed by his family. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 am (visitation 9:30-10:30) on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Gathering Hall, Elgin Mills Cemetery Funeral Centres (1591 Elgin Mills Road East, Richmond Hill, ON).
