Kit Tam (Tim) Ng, aged 86, passed away on October 20, 2025. Born on September 8, 1939, he lived a life marked by steady dedication, quiet strength, and reliable support.

He was the beloved husband of 47 years to Wai Wah Ng. A proud father, he is survived by his sons Dennis and David, and daughter Jane. He was the son of Gim Hai and Cheng Yin and deeply committed to his family.

For 32 years, he served with integrity and commitment at Canada Post - earning the respect and friendship of colleagues.

He found joy in the simple things: a cup of coffee and a pastry with family and friends, staying up to date on world events, and rooting for the Maple Leafs during playoff season.

The family kindly welcomes flowers but would also appreciate donations made in Kit Tam’s memory to the charity of your choice.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to all who offered comfort and care in his final days.

One of my earlier childhood memories was my uncle Kit holding me warmly in his arms to comfort me often. We would walk in our neighborhood under the dim street lights of Hong Kong.
Even, after he left Hong Kong for Canada I missed my kind and gentle young uncle thinking often as my protector from far away.
Years later, I was reunited with him as he sponsored our family to come to Canada. When we met again, my young uncle was a grown man. His warmth and kindness remained the same. His support and generosity to our family continued. Every Christmas he would show up with gifts and a big turkey for us all to share.
I will always treasure his kindness. Rest in peace my dear uncle Kit.
