In memory of

Kit-Ho Gabriel Li

January 10, 1988 -  August 2, 2019

Kit-Ho Gabriel Li was born on January 10, 1988 at North York General Hospital as the youngest son to Wilson and Lucy Li. He grew up in Scarborough, Ontario and attended Milliken Public School, Timothy Eaton Business and Technical Institute, and Dr. Norman Bethune Collegiate Institute. Gabriel completed his schooling by graduating from Centennial College in 2010 with a diploma in Business Administration.

Gabriel was an active and energetic person. He loved to run around at home, play catch in the backyard, joined his high school wrestling team, worked out regularly and went bungee jumping in his travels.

From birth, Gabriel came to learn about the Gospel from his family and church. He was baptized into Christ on April 11, 2004 at Toronto Chinese Alliance Church. He served faithfully at church by volunteering as a leader in the summer camp, assisting with Sunday School, and welcoming people Sunday mornings as an usher.

Gabriel was helpful to everyone and dutiful at work. He received a 5-year service award from RONA and a Team Player Award from the Rogers Centre. Gabriel appreciated watching and applying ideas from leaders in business and had a passion for improving processes around him.

Most importantly Gabriel loved his family. He enjoyed cooking for his parents and helping them organize their home. There is no action movie that Gabriel and his brother have not seen, and even up until his last day he cherished playing with his nephew and nieces.

Gabriel passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 2, 2019.

My wife and I knew Gabriel since he was a toddler. We taught him in Sunday school in his early years. Gabriel was a caring person, full of energy. Every time we see him, he is always asking how my son Justin is doing knowing that Justin has special needs. He will be sorely missed but we will remember Gabriel as a caring young man with a big heart.
