Kimberly Patricia Honsberger (nee Lowon)

Peacefully passed away with her best friend Janet and Morteza, sister Lana and nephew Max by her side on February 15, 2025 at Providence Health Centre.

Predeceased by her husband Steven Honsberger, best friend to Janet Rice (Richard Rice), Morteza Tajdolat , sister to Lana Lowon (Jim Pope), dear nephew to Max Pope (Marishka Pope), great niece Arlo Pope, sister in law to Susan Duffy.

To know Kimmie was to love Kimmie.
She had a zest for life, she faced every challenge that was brought to her and faced it with silent fear and a brave face. Kimmie was a realist, she always moved forward and never ever gave up.
In Kim’s exemplary life it is how she made people feel that will be remembered.
The best friend I could ever ask for, she was tough, she was opinionated, she was about the truth. It was the truth that made her who she was.

Together forever with her soul mate Steven.

In honor of Kimmie’s wishes, there will not be a funeral/service.
Memorial donations can be made to Princess Margaret Hospital.

Kim, you were not just a friend to me, you treated me like a brother you never had. You were a sister to me that I could trust and rely on.
Your open mind, kindness, caring and being truthful in your opinions were qualities that everyone would wish to be touched by.
Your departure has created a hole in my heart which is not possible to fill but with the memory and the feeling of being so lucky to know you.

What a dear friend I had in Kimmie! She loved to talk and we had many memorable conversations about anything and everything. I see her smile. I hear her laugh. I will miss you my friend. I am comforted knowing that you are back in Steve's arms. He didn't have to wait too long for you. I wish I had more time to spend with you.

Strong, Smart, Hilarious, Truthful, a Fashionista, a forward thinker, positivity queen, a red lipstick die-hard and someone who made a huge impact on my life that continues to this day and will stay with me the rest of my life.
