Dear Richard, Alison, and Geoffrey,
I met Kim when we were 9, in grade 4. We were the 2 tallest in our grade and certainly bonding began then. Kim was a bridesmaid at our wedding and for much of our early adult life Kim was my sidekick and the true friend I could always count on. Of course over time we became busy with our families and no longer had the same time to spend so in recent years we had slacked off.
Kim was a true friend and that is forever!
My deepest condolences for the loss of Kim. She will be missed!
So sorry we cannot attend the visitation, but our warmest wishes are with you all at this challenging time.
I first knew Kim and family, when Briarcrest reopened ,as a teacher/librarian/principal supply and most importantly as a friend and valued volunteer without whom, I would have be unable to undertake the many responsibilities. So conscientious, so dedicated, so innovative, what Kim brought to me and our school community was far beyond a volunteer area. From book fairs organization, to receiving new resource materials, to interacting with Library visitors of all ages, Kim was incredibly appreciated and valued as an important member of our Briarcrest family. Kim & I stayed in touch post my retirement and shared not only wonderful memories of Briarcrest times but also family joys and, in particular, what granddaughter Isla brought to she and Richard.
My heart goes out to Richard, Alison, Geoffrey and families....Kim was a treasure and an incredible and wonderful friend...I will miss her ever ....Love, Sheila Cutler
