In memory of

Kilroy Cheah

July 1, 1969 -  May 20, 2022

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Roy. We take comfort in knowing he is now free from all the pain and suffering of health issues which he always persevered in battling.

The heartache of losing Roy too soon is softened by knowing he is once again having tea and long talks with our beloved mother, Katherine, whom he missed immensely. He is the cherished younger brother of Karen (Terry) and Ken (Doris). Loving uncle to Katie and Kolby. He will be fondly remembered by extended family and dearly missed by friends, some of whom were like family to him. He appreciated their many expressions of love, kindness and help, especially as the health issues increased. Roy also enjoyed daily visits from "his" outdoor cats, Penny and Henry, who came for food, of course, and to chill with him.

Although we cannot see him again, chat or enjoy his great cooking, we are thankful for the many shared memories that will carry us through the days ahead. He will be forever treasured in our hearts. We love you to the moon and back, Roy! Thank you for loving us too and all you brought to our lives.

Memorial donations made be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, Diabetes Canada or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

I am so sorry to hear about Kilroy. I will always cherish the years we had together in our younger years and the adventures we had together at all hours of the night with our cars. Rest in peace my friend.

We are saddened by the loss of our dear Roy.
Roy was more then a neighbour to us he was family.
He touched our hearts in so many ways. We loved sharing meals together, getting us to try new foods (we loved that) and long conversations about anything and everything.
He was a generous soul. He loved our boys as much as our boys loved him and always will.
I loved that he would always come over and just sit with us, watch the boys play, and chat.
He will always be remembered forever.
Until we meet again dear Roy.
Love always,
The Schiau Family
