Kien Phu Lu

July 15, 1926 - June 5, 2024

Our beloved Kien Phu Lu (Yeh Yeh, Gong Gong, Tai Gong Gong) passed away peacefully at the age of 98 on June 5th, 2024.

He was the loving husband of Hanh Khoan Chung of 71 years.

Kien is survived by 7 children, 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Kien's passion for living a simple and honest life was respected by all.

He touched all who knew him through his ingenuity and kindness.
We will fondly remember Kien with happy memories and deep admiration.

I feel so blessed that I had the chance to grow up with my Grandpa. I feel sadness for my Grandma as she embarks the rest of her life without him, after 71 years. I feel sorrow for my Mom, Aunt Jean, and my Uncles for losing their father. I will always remember my Grandpa as a gentle and sweet soul. Love you always, Gong Gong.

Though it's hard to say goodbye, I find comfort knowing Grandpa lived a long, full life. He got to watch each one of us grow up and celebrated all our childhood birthdays together. Many can't say the same. We were so blessed to have him.
