In memory of

Kien Khanh Diep

October 13, 1951 -  May 11, 2021

On Tuesday, May 11th, 2021, Khanh Kien Diep loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt passed away at the age of 69.

Khanh was born on October 12th, 1951 in Vietnam, married Hung Sieu Thoong on April 10th, 1977, had two children (Jessica Thoong and Peter Thoong) and worked as a seamstress for many years.

She had a passion for travelling, gardening and cooking but her biggest passion was being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sibling and aunt. She thrived on being the matriarch to her family and she taught all who knew her what it meant to love selflessly and unconditionally.

She is survived by her husband Hung Sieu Thoong, her children Jessica Thoong (Quinton Ford) and Peter Thoong (Iris Lo), her grandchildren Jeremy Ford, Cameron Thoong and Emily Ford, and her sisters Ping Kien Van and Jenny Chan Kien Lang.
Due to Covid restrictions, there will be a small service held on Wednesday, May 19th at Elgin Mills Cemetery.
Donations can be made on her behalf to the Canadian Cancer Society of Canada, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or Sunnybrook Foundation.

Deepest condolences to Mr. H.S. Thoong, Jessica, Quinton, Jeremy, Emily, Peter, Iris & Cameron
I was deeply saddened by the sudden devastating loss of your wife, mother, Mother-in-law & grandmother.
Words may seem so empty now, little can be said to ease your grief right now.
As long as there are beautiful memories your loved one will live on in the hearts of your family.
Hope your family will find strength and comfort in just being together and sharing favourite stories and sweet memories.
My thoughts are with you during this sad time.
Rest in peace.
