It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Kevinstar Ferreira de Vasconcelos, who departed this world on February 3rd, 2024, in his home in Toronto, Ontario. He is a cherished son, a compassionate brother, a nurturing uncle, and an incredible friend.

Born to Ana and Francisco, Kevin brings immeasurable joy and love into their lives. He was a source of strength, laughter, and unwavering support for his siblings Dorival, Princess, and Sarah, a loving brother in law, and a guiding light for his niece. Kevin's warmth and kindness extended beyond his family to embrace all those he considered part of his chosen family.

Kevin's presence was a beacon of light in the lives of everyone he touched. His infectious laughter, gentle demeanour, and genuine care left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will forever be remembered as a once-in-a-lifetime person, whose legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.

An avid baker with a passion for spreading joy through his creations, Kevin had a remarkable ability to brighten people's days with his culinary delights. Whether through food, laughter, or his comforting presence, Kevin had a unique gift for making others feel cherished and valued.

Raised in Toronto, Kevin's academic journey took him from Fern Avenue Public School to Humberside Collegiate Institute, and finally to Toronto Metropolitan University, where he pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree. His family will proudly receive his posthumous degree at the end of the Winter 2024 Semester, honoring Kevin's dedication and commitment to his studies.

Kevin's memory will be honored and cherished by his family and friends during his visitation on Friday, February 23rd, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at York Cemetery and Funeral Centre, located at 160 Beecroft Rd., in Toronto. A Catholic Mass in celebration of Kevin's life will be held on Saturday, February 24th, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at St. Mary of the Angels, 1481 Dufferin St, Toronto, followed by his burial at York Cemetery and Funeral Centre from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm.
