In memory of

Kevin Wint

March 10, 1974 -  January 23, 2022

Kevin Wint was born March 10, 1974 in Kingston, Jamaica, and then migrated to Canada at the age of nine to join his mother. He lived in Montreal, Quebec for 4 years where he learned to speak French fluently. After living in Montreal the family relocated to Brampton, Ontario where remained until his death.

Kevin leaves behind mother Jasmin and father Denver; wife Sally and son Shamar; siblings Patrice, Tina, Tanisha, Camille and Karie; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many other relatives and friends. Kevin was preceded by his deceased children Jahvante and twins Ethan and Devin.

As a child, Kevin took a great interest in astronomy and was an avid comic book collector – especially Marvel comics series. His comic book super heroes influenced him to practice martial arts. He was trained in Muay Thai Boxing, Kick Boxing and Taekwondo under Sensei Donnie Mingnon.

Kevin graduated from Cardinal Leger High school and completed his tertiary education at Seneca College.

He had a real love for numbers, which propelled him into the area of finance. His financial skills allowed him to secure long-term employment with NCR Canada as a Forecast Analyst. Even as an analyst at NCR, his passion was always Real Estate – whether it was managing, selling or buying. His dream was realized when he left NCR and began working as a real estate professional at M5V and then Century 21 Atria. Kevin worked tirelessly at his profession, helping many to realize their dreams of home ownership and along the way garnered many awards and accolades in the real estate industry.

Apart from real estate, Kevin was a humanitarian. He gave generously to various charities such as Violence Against Women, Canadian Cancer Society, Easter Seals, Institute for the Blind, Alzheimer's Society and Charity Service Faith Mission. Recently when asked to be on the Board of a humanitarian organization (Charity Service Faith Mission), supporting poor communities in Africa - founded by his mother - he did not hesitate. In fact he thought it was a privilege and an honor!

He loved everyone that he met and he took the time to make everyone feel special, even if it was for a moment. He will ALWAYS be remembered for how he made everyone feel. He loved life and everything about it. He had a humble spirit and when he laughed it echoed in a room. The joy he brought to others will be missed. We believe that his spirit and soul are flying high with those that have passed on.
