It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected and untimely passing of Kevin Kang Woon Tso (曹鏡垣), a loving husband, a cherished father, grandfather, brother and friend, who died on March 13, 2025 at the age of 77 due to illness. His final moments were peaceful with his daughters, Sandra and Peggy by his side. He knew that he was loved and was at peace with the natural and inevitable stage of life that is death.

Our father was a man of remarkable resilience and resourcefulness, full of determination to succeed and a strong desire to improve his circumstances and provide for his family. His quiet strength offered unwavering support to those who relied on him, and his easy laughter brought brightness to all who knew him. Devoted to his family and incredibly hard-working, he also had a playful side with his grandchildren, loving them immensely. He was born in Panyu District, Guangdong, China. He lived in Hong Kong and Nigeria before immigrating to Canada in search of a better life for his family.

Kevin will be lovingly remembered by his two daughters, Sandra (Jason) and Peggy (Justin), his four grandchildren, Kaydence, Bradley, Elowen, and Adrian, who will forever cherish his memory and the lessons he imparted. His spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. He was predeceased by his loving wife Lisa Lai Yung Tso (曹陳麗容).

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 1:00pm at Elgin Mills Cemetery, followed by a celebration of life service and interment. We will be hosting a funeral reception to follow.
