The family of Kevin Bayers is deeply saddened to announce his sudden and untimely death on September 2, 2023 following a courageous battle with Diabetes, Kidney disease and Heart failure at the age of 58.

His memory will be forever cherished by his sister Cindy Bayers (Anthony Reiss) and brother Doug Bayers. Kevin will be lovingly remembered by his two nephews, Tyler Reid (Katrina Nerisse) and Brayden Reid. He will be fondly remembered by his two neices, Sam Bayers-Alderman (Ian Alderman) and Hannah Bayers.

Kevin will be greatly missed by his closet friend, Alessandro Cornacchia. Alessandro has tirelessly supported Kevin during his multiple battles with his health issues.

Kevin was predeceased by his father, Ronald Bayers and mother, Alice Bayers (Westhaver).

Kevin loved cats. His most cherished cat Toby, who died several years ago will rejoin him in the afterlife. He loved his cat, Daphne and would often get in trouble for giving her treats when she was not supposed to have them!

Kevin loved the soap operas! His favourite soap opera was the Young and the Restless which he watched for the past 50 years! This is also Cindy's favourite soap opera and they would often share what each thought could happen to the characters in the show and he would always have the “inside scoop” of the spoilers that were coming.
