In memory of

Kenneth Young

May 17, 1958 -  January 9, 2021

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kenneth Young on Sat. Jan. 9th, 2021 at the age of 62.

Ken was an amazing guy with a big personality and an even bigger heart who touched many lives. He will forever be in the hearts and thoughts of those who knew and loved him.

Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, there will be a small, private service at Pine Hills, with a webcast service this Saturday, Jan. 16th at 2 pm. The link for the webcast will be available on this website 10 minutes before the service. With a more public celebration of life to follow at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated

Dear Ken ,

You will remain forever alive and well in my thoughts , along with so many wonderful memories and conversations we shared together over the years . I know wherever you are , you will be hard at work tirelessly helping others the way you have always been there for me . Like a true brother , generously good and kind to me in every meaningful way , I have grown to love you so much over the years .

In so many ways you ran counter to human nature because selflessness runs counter to human nature -

My deepest and most sincere condolences to the Young Family, with special heartfelt thoughts to Grace .

Love Harry

My uncle Ken was a genuinely kind-hearted person. He was endlessly selfless to anyone who was fortunate enough to cross paths with him and he approached all situations with a smile and a great sense of humour. Whatever the occasion, he was ready with a joke in hand.

He may be gone from us now, but his soul and spirit will remain in our laughter, our joy, and in our warmest memories of him.

There are individuals in this world who are in a class by themselves. Unassuming humble honest decent loyal. Kenny was in that class. I have known him since the early eighties and I can honestly say he was a true friend to myself and my family. He had an unsurpassed work and personal ethic. Always had that smile and he was filled with kindness. Harry and I will miss that smile. We will miss a real authentic friend. To his family we wish you inner strength at this difficult time. May he reside in our hearts and consciousness
