In memory of

Kenneth Weikuo Chu

August 31, 1975 -  June 20, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ken Chu, who left us peacefully on the morning of June 20, 2025, at Scarborough General Hospital. He was 49 years old.

Born in Scarborough on August 31, 1975, Ken was a beloved son, brother, friend, and adventurer at heart. He will be remembered for his kind heart, gentle and generous spirit, and his unwavering determination to embrace life with joy, humour, and an open heart.
Ken had a deep passion for all that life had to offer — whether it was discovering new cuisines, enjoying a great film or song, or simply sharing quiet, meaningful moments with the people he loved. He was a true world traveller, always planning his next adventure, often before the current one had even ended. His curiosity and enthusiasm were contagious, and his love for exploration reflected the way he approached everything in life — with excitement, wonder, and gratitude.
Above all, Ken treasured his family and friends. Time spent with them was his greatest joy, and his loyalty, compassion, and love touched all who were lucky enough to know him.
Ken leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity, and quiet strength. He will be dearly missed and forever cherished by all whose lives he graced.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28 at Elgin Mills Cemetery, Cremation & Funeral Centres
1591 Elgin Mills Road East, Richmond Hill, ON, CANADA, L4S 1M. Visitations will start from 1:00pm. The Funeral Services will begin at 2:00pm, and the cremation will take place following the service. A consolation meal will follow at Dragon Legend 25 Lanark Rd, Markham, ON L3R 9S, starting at 430 pm.

I did not know Ken but knowing his sister Leah I'm sure he was just as kind-hearted and friendly as she is. I am sending my deepest condolences to the family during this difficult time. Gone far too soon; I am so sorry for your loss Leah.
