Kenneth Mullin Sr.

December 17, 1926 -  July 20, 2021

The Mullin family is saddened to announce the loss of Ken, who passed away peacefully on July 20, 2021 in his 94th year. Beloved Husband to Dorothy (nee. Norman) for 68 wonderful years. Proud father to David (Shirlee), Mike (Dorene), Chris (Debbie), Kenny (Leslie), Peter (Cheryl), John (Cheryl), Margaret (Jim) predeceased. Adored Grandfather to Shannon, Dan (Antonella), Robert, Joshua (Jessie), Jessica (Tyler), Courtney (Dallas), Melanie (Joe), Andrew, Samantha, Anna and Cameron. Great-Grandfather to Alice, Wyatt, Raegan George and Gioia. Ken will also be missed by his brother Tony (Mary) and family, dearly missed by his many friends, his colleagues at Bell Canada and his fellow parishioners at St. Edward’s the Confessor. Kenneth is predeceased by brother’s Jackie, Jimmy, Gerald and sister Vera.

Ken was born in Glasglow, Scotland in 1926. He attend St. Mungo’s Academy and later served 2 years in the British Navy. Ken married Dorothy on October 24, 1953. Ken then worked for British Telecom until immigrating to Canada in 1957. Once in Canada, Ken was employed by Bell Canada where he stayed until retiring in 1986. Ken was very active in his local Church Parish, St. Edward the Confessor. He enjoyed sports especially soccer, which he played until he was 62. He also enjoyed playing golf in later years. Ken was especially proud of his seven children and grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be sorely missed by all of his family and friends. We are now very happy to know that Ken is resting peacefully in his new home, Heaven.

Due to COVID-19 and capacity restrictions, all funeral events must be considered by invitation only. To help us accommodate guests who would like to attend, please contact the family directly to express your interest in attending. A Visitation in Kenneth’s memory will be held on Saturday, July 24 from 1:00-2:00 pm at ST. EDWARD THE CONFESSOR, 75 Churchill Avenue, North York, ON. A Funeral Mass will follow at 2:00 pm. A Cremation will follow at a later date.

My sincere condolences to the loss of your beloved father Ken. I’ll forever remember Beecroft patrol office Ken with his kind heart looking out for people with their expire parking meters daily. Rest In Peace Ken.

We have known Ken for so many years and remember his ready sense of humour and wonderful voice when he was cantor at St Ed's. We will miss meeting him on neighbourhood walks. Somewhere in heaven, the angels are singing with Scottish accents.
