In memory of

Kenneth John Kerr

August 4, 1956 -  January 25, 2025

Kenneth Kerr, 68, passed away peacefully in his home after a brief and courageous battle with cancer with his family by his side.

Ken was born on August 4, 1956 to Kenneth and Ruth Kerr in Toronto. He built his career at Toronto Hydro where he worked for 37 years, but more importantly where he met his cherished wife Jenny. Through Jenny, he embraced the Greek Orthodox faith which brought him strength, peace and a sense of community. Jenny meant the world to Ken and together they built a beautiful life filled with love and respect for one another. On October 9, 2001, their love doubled when they welcomed twin boys Isaac and Joachim who are their pride and joy.

Ken was hard working, resilient and an endlessly thoughtful man who would do anything for the people he loved. He passed all of these wonderful traits onto his boys Isaac and Joachim.

Ken was predeceased by his parents Kenneth and Ruth and his mother-in-law Stavroula.

He is survived by his wife Jenny, sons Isaac and Joachim, father-in-law Stavros, sister-in-law Petroula, brother-in-law Chris, nieces Magdalyn (Michael) and Stefany (Joshua), his sisters Carolyn and Wendy and many members of extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.

Family and friends are invited to St. Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church 1223 Dovercourt Road, Toronto on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 from 4:30 - 7:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held at St. Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church, on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at 10 a.m. Burial to follow in Pine Hills Cemetery, 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in Ken’s name to St. Nektarios church would be appreciated.

May his memory be eternal.

My heartfelt condolences Jenny, Isaac and Joachim on the passing of Ken. You and the boys were his pride and joy and he will be sorely missed. I will miss him popping in to my office to say "Hi" and catch up on life when he was in the area. I'm sure he and Craig are up there watching over all of us. May he rest in peace. Paula xo
