In memory of

Kenneth Cameron Mossop

June 3, 1951 -  March 7, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ken Mossop. He passed early on March 7th with his loving family by his side. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 47 years, Jill, his children Jeffrey (Dana), Dawn (Blair), and Kelly (Alex). Ken cherished his grandchildren Harrison, Sam, Arden, and Ava. He is survived by his brothers Jim and John.

Ken’s fight with cancer was truly inspirational. He battled cancer for 18 years with tremendous courage and a positive attitude. He fought for every additional moment and in the end he lived for many more years than his disease had planned for him.

Ken was a man who lived life to the fullest, whose first priority was his family. His zest for life was an inspiration to all who knew him. His positivity, boundless energy, humour, and enthusiasm are what we will miss most. He was a natural salesman who had a passion for his work. Ken took pride in being first on the golf course, his perfectly maintained lawn and pool, his dogs and sharing pictures of his grandchildren. He enjoyed cottages, bird watching, and long drives in his Miata.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the medical staff who cared for Ken over the years, as well as to the many friends, neighbours and colleagues who offered their support during this difficult time.

A celebration of Ken's life will be held on March 26th at Spring Lakes Golf Club in Stouffville from 2:00 - 5:00pm.

As a friend , guide and client - Ken was just a great human being . The saying - only the good die young.
I spoke with Ken last week about his visit with his Doctor, only positive thoughts and next steps in his mission to beat cancer and live his life . WOW. Jill called me yesterday to say that Ken had passed- my heart sank , I got a chill and walked outside- was greeted by the Sun - it almost winked - that was Ken smiling down on me. Most sincere Condolences to Jill and the Mossop family. Drive on Ken - the Miata awaits always ! TMB
