It is with much sadness Kengo’s family announce his passing on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 in the palliative care unit at the Hennick Bridgepoint Hospital. Kengo was 82 years old.
He was a loving brother, brother-in-law, uncle and great uncle.
Unselfish, kind and caring man. Enjoyed all the family gatherings; camping, day trip outings, BBQ, New Year’s Day dinners… Enjoyed music and sports, especially hockey….sad he never saw the Leafs win another Stanley cup.
Kengo leaves:
Brothers: Fumishi “Charlie”, Shiro, Dick ‘’Zenko” (Fran), Wally (Donna), Mike (Barb)
Sisters: Yayemi (David predeceased) and Ruth “Tomiko”
Sister-in-law: Margaret (predeceased by brother Shoichi)
Many nieces, grand nieces, nephews & grand nephews
Predeceased by:
Parents: Watari & Sumi
Brothers: Shoichi and Shoroku
Sister: Miyeko (Fumio) Nakagawa
Brother-in-law: David Stock
As he wished, there will not be a funeral service. Private family burial has taken place.
