In memory of

Keith Chow

1949 - 2024

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Keith Sau Kee Chow - 周寿祺 .

Born in rural Guangdong, China, raised in Hong Kong, Keith immigrated to Canada as a teenager and settled in Toronto. On a cold night two years later, as he celebrated the Chinese New Year and his own 18th birthday, Keith met his sweetheart Mary at a party. This would become the partnership that would define his adult life, that would bring him the family and community he dearly loved.

Beloved husband to Mary, devoted dad to Andrea (Andrew) and Julia (Neil), best 公公 ever to Iris and Kenton, loving brother to Yuet Fong Young, delighted uncle to many nieces and nephews, welcoming brother-in-law to those who became his family through marriage, and predeceased by his mother (Mei Yee), father (Zoi Fan), sister (Mary Wong), and brother (Chau Wai Keung), Keith was a lifelong soccer fan (go Brazil go!), quick-witted and quick to laugh, and generous with his time, money, and love. He was a dedicated employee of Canada Post for 35 years and also ran a Japan Camera Centre with Mary. Though this made for a difficult life of hard work, we are grateful that this afforded him the stable, comfortable family and life that he wanted and valued.

He lives on in the hearts of all who love him.

FLOWERS/DONATIONS: The family welcomes flowers to the Funeral Home or to the house of Mary Chow or donations to the University Health Network Foundation [direct to: Peter Munk Cardiac Centre, in memory of Keith Chow]. Keith was, and we are, forever grateful for the expert, compassionate, life-saving care that they provided him.

I had an opportunity to work with Keith Chow for many years at Canada Post. He was
my good friend and fellow supervisor.

I will greatly miss him. May God rests his departed soul in peace, and provide comfort and solace to his grieving family.

Keith has been good friend and neighbour of ours for many years. He inspired us with his energy and effort, especially with his countless long walks all around the area.

May he continue with a journey to rest with God. God bless you Keith and peace be with you.

Dear Mary,
We were sad to hear of Keith's passing. May God rest his soul in peace,
The times that we did share with him was such a pleasure. He was a sweet person, funny and very approachable.
Nilo and I would like to offer you and the family our sincerest condolences, and best wishes for a future without Keith

Our condolences to the Chow family on the passing of Keith. We have been close to the family since Andrea married Andrew, and we have always greatly enjoyed our times together. Keith & Mary were always welcoming, hospitable and generous. Keith was a thoughtful, intelligent man, with an endearing smile and sense of humour, who enjoyed the company of others. He once told us that what he enjoyed most about working in the Japan Camera Store after retirement was the people, the customers. He will be missed by all whose lives he enriched.
