Young, Kee Quok (aka Dan/Danny)

Peacefully passed on Sunday September 17, 2023 at Sunnybrook Hospital in the presence of his family at the age of 89. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife – Yuet Fong and their children – Albert (Jean), Nancy, Henry and Brenda. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Matthew. Kee will also be missed by his extended family of nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews and their families. Retired from being owner/operator of Dan Young Fruit Market for over 30 years; he will be remembered and missed by his former customers and neighbours’ within the Mid-town Toronto neighbourhood.

Visitation and Funeral will be held at Pine Hills Cemetery & Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Road, Toronto on Saturday September 23, 2023. Visitation hours will be from 9am to 10am. The funeral will be held after and will be a private family event.
