Kazuo Gerald Kumabe

April 7, 1950 - March 20, 2021

Kumabe, Kuzao Gerald (Gerry). It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Gerry, age 70 on Saturday, March 20, 2021. He is survived by his loving mother, Misako. Gerry was predeceased by his father, Masayuki (Mas). A beloved father to Marie (Nick) and granddad to Michael and Sofia. A dear brother to Lorraine, Grace, Ron, Marilyn, Mark and Alan. He will also be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncle. Due to Covid restrictions, there is no formal funeral and the visitation is restricted to invitation-only at Pine Hills Cemetery & Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Rd, Scarborough, ON (416-267-8229) on Monday, March 29, 2021 at 4 p.m. Please remember Gerry as a cheerful, kind and gentle soul, with a soft laugh. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favourite charity.

Thank you for giving us an opportunity to remember Gerry. I didn't see him often, but really enjoyed his company when I did, at family gatherings. He was kind and gentle and we will always fondly remember him. Our thoughts are with all of his family at this sad time.
