With great sadness, we announce that Kay died peacefully on March 10, 2025 at the age of 91 surrounded by family. He is survived by his dedicated wife of 68 years, Marion Man Kuen; children: Betty (Ben), Donna, Diane, Eric (Celia); grandchildren: Wesley, Pamela and Kyle; many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews.

Born in Hoi Ping, China, Kay immigrated to Canada at the age of 17. He owned and operated Ken Chong Cleaners and Laundry on the Danforth until 1999. He was a long time active member of Lung Kong Tin Yee Association. The tremendous care and support our family received in his later years from family and friends was a testament to his dedication to those in his life.

張練奇先生出生於廣東開平，17歲從香港移民到加國。在Danforth 街經營Ken Chong 洗衣店，同時亦積極参與龍崗公所事務，盡心盡力，嬴得大家支持和尊敬
