In memory of

Kay Elias

June 28, 1931 -  November 29, 2022

Kostadina Elias (nee Bozinis), Kotsa to her many friends and family, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 29th, 2022. A beautiful and caring individual who touched the lives of all who knew her. She was born in Alona, Greece to Risto and Temiana on June 28, 1931. Kay was the beloved and very much missed wife of Kostas for 69 years, devoted mother of Mary (Michael) and John (Toni). Adored Baba to her grandchildren Paul and Natalie and great grandchildren Ariadne, Efthymia and Nektarios who all brought her so much joy, who she loved dearly and was so proud of. Devoted sister to Steve Bozinis who will miss her terribly. Predeceased by her sister Anastasia, her brothers Kosta and Dimitri. Kay loved baking, gardening, cooking, knitting, game shows and entertaining. She loved people and nobody ever left her house hungry. A truly wonderful matriarch whose presence can never be replaced. In her own words, she would proudly say “everybody loves me” and the outpouring of grief proves how many lives she has touched.
Family and friends will be received at ELGIN MILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 1591 Elgin Mills Rd.E., Richmond Hill (east of Leslie St., 905-737-1720) on Sunday, December 4 from 4-8 p.m. and on Monday, December 5 from 9-10 a.m. The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. with the interment to follow in Elgin Mills Cemetery. If so desired, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
