It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Kathy Mastromartino at Trillium Health Partners - Mississauga Hospital on December 13, 2019. Kathy was the loving daughter of Minnie Steeves. Beloved wife of Matt for over 49 years. Loving and cherished Mother to Angelo (Kelly) and Matthew. Devoted Nonna to Hudson and Fisher. She will be forever remembered by her siblings, Marlene (Len), Pat (Paul), Velda, Bill (Anna) and Maxine (Steve). Marlene was not only Kathy’s sister, but also her best friend and confidant. Kathy is survived by manysister-in-laws and brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by her friends Debbie, Hilda, Mariana and Ann.
Kathy worked for the Peel District School Board for over 30 years. She loved working with all the staff and parents but especially all of her students. Kathy was a dedicated Mother first and foremost. She treasured her boys and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Nonna to her beloved Hudson and Fisher. Kathy made friends and memories everywhere she went. Her life was a living example of how to love and be kind to one another.
