It is with great sadness that we announce Karen’s passing on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at the age of 55. She was the beloved wife of David and cherished mom of Sara (Patrick Sheahan). She will be missed by extended family and friends. A Celebration of Karen’s life will be held at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & VISITATION CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229) on Tuesday, June 14th from 6-8 p.m. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association. I'm so sad to hear of Aunt Karen's passing. She certainly hasn't had it easy over the years but with Uncle Dav and Sara by her side, she found the strength to go on. Its never easy loosing a loved one and the next while for everyone will be filled with grief and sadness but we need to remember she isn't sick anymore. She isn't in pain. She certainly has earned her wings and is now watching us from the most beautiful place above. My love and support to everyone. Until we meet again, Love Melissa
