In memory of

Kam Ping Chan

March 10, 1955 -  March 24, 2018

It is with great sadness that the family of Kam Ping Chan, announces her passing on Saturday, March 24, 2018.

She is survived by her son Paul and daughter-in-law Pamela. Her brother Rick and sister Sui-Wah. Much loved aunt of Wendy, Renee and Renita.

Cooking and eating was her life-long passion. She made all kinds of food, including Chinese, Italian and South Asian. She would take the time to create and test different recipes and read about new culinary methods.

For those who knew Ping, they would describe her as independent, hard working and a loving person. She also had a great sense of humor which will be greatly missed. While she may not be with us physically today, her gentle spirit will remain in our hearts forever.

Please join us for a celebration of life on Saturday March 31, 2018.

Dear Paul and your family.
I am truly sorry to hear for the lost of your mother, my co-worker and colleague.
Please accept my condolences and my prayers help comfort you.
She was a very nice hardworking and dependable individual.
It was privilege for me to work with her at CPI for more than 10 years.
It was pity that such a nice person was so terrible hurt, and suffer for years because
the tragic accident happened while daily driving to her job.

Ping had a great sense of humour. She was always telling me I had "Barbie Doll" hair! We had many good times together.
Ping made the best Spring Rolls and Pot Stickers. She made a thermos of her Ginger Tea for me to help with my cold and it's amazing. My son and I make her tea quite often.
I'll miss her, so much.
