Kam Fon Wong was born in Taishan, China on June 16, 1931. He was the eldest of 3 siblings, one younger brother, Kam Bor and a younger sister, Bui Ha. He came to Quebec City, Canada in July 1968 to start and provide a better life for his family, he is survived by his wife, Yee Har, his daughter, Yuen Yee (Annie), his son, Sylvain, his son-in-law Peter Yang and his grand daughter, Kaitlyn. He worked as a Chinese cook/chef at multiple Chinese restaurants before becoming an owner at the last Chinese restaurant before retiring and moving to Toronto to be closer to his daughter and her family.

He loved his family and often enjoyed going for dimsum and eating at several Chinese restaurants for birthday celebrations and for family dinners. One of his favorite past times was walking over to the convenience store to play his lucky lottery numbers and having his coffee at the Tim Horton's next door, where he became a regular customer. He was very outgoing, friendly and always wore a smile!

My dad was a huge fan of soccer and he also enjoyed watching hockey and basketball and playing slots at the casino. He also enjoyed watching old Chinese movies, the Chinese opera and current Chinese soap operas and current events.

My dad was a kind and gentle soul who always had a warm smile and generous heart! He will be forever loved, missed and remembered fondly by his family and dear friends. May you find eternal happiness and peace dad!
