Kallie Bass, 93, passed away peacefully at Parkview Home, Stouffville, on the evening of December 26, 2022, after a quiet visit with her family. Kallie's resilient spirit shone through until her last days. In Kallie's own words, she had a good life and she enjoyed it. Kallie was born in Brandon, Manitoba on October 24, 1929, to Marina and William Bass. She grew up in Greece, and returned to Canada with her family in 1949, to the Toronto area, where she spent the majority of her life. Kallie had a successful career, traveled extensively, fundraised for charities, enjoyed music and reading, and most of all was devoted to her family and closest friends. Her strength, smile, humour and joy in the presence of her loved ones will always be remembered. Kallie is survived by her sisters Dia and Kay, Kay's husband Nicholas, her nephews William and John, John's wife Konstantina, her niece Alyssa, and her great-nieces Adriana, Christina and Katherine.

The viewing will be held from 9:30 am to 10:30 am on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at York Cemetary and Funeral Centre, at 160 Beecroft Rd., North York, immediately followed by the service, burial and luncheon. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to The Alzheimer Society of Ontario.
