In memory of

Kaethe Huellemann

August 1, 1936 -  June 16, 2025

Kaethe died peacefully on June 16, 2025 at her residence at the age of 88.

She was a loving wife to Fred for over 37 years (predeceased) and will be remembered as a devoted mother to Inez (Michael Nangle). She was also a caring grandmother to Madison and Kayley (fiancé Brandon).
She will be missed by her brother Reinhard and her brother-in-law Paul; also her nieces and nephews (Barbel, Jorg, Ricky and Rita).

Kaethe immigrated to Cananda in 1961 from Germany to marry her husband. She built a life and home including a cabin in the woods. She had wonderful adventures travelling across Canada, US and Europe.

A celebration of life will be held on July 5th 2025 at The Simple Alternative, 1535 South Gateway Road, Mississauga, ON L4W 5J1. Visitation at 11am followed by a short eulogy and reception.

In lieu of flowers we asked that you donate to Parkinson’s Canada or your local Humane Society.

Always will remember the great times like the family get togethers you hosted with the great meals you prepared. And those desserts 😋. The camping adventures in Killarney and your cottage near Huntsville. You were always kind and caring to me and will always have fond memories of you. 🥰

For our family, Kaethe was one of us. Always present in the day to day as we grew up, and joyfully with us sharing in family events and milestones. I always felt seen and safe with her, and appreciated sharing our mutual love of the natural environment. She was never as happy as when sharing stories about her family and especially her grandchildren as they grew up. She is missed.

Our deepest sympathies to you, Mike and the rest of the family. We are grateful we got to meet her during some of your family functions. We enjoyed good times at cottages up in Huntsville. May she rest in peace.

While I didn’t ever meet her, she raised a fine daughter in Inez. Her and mike have always been kind and helpful and were a pleasure to work with. I am sorry I cannot make it today but I love the fact she loves colours. Life passes by in a blink of an eye, we should all enjoy life in colour.
