家父馬家強，生於1954年2月7日英屬香港，痛於2016年10月10曰加拿大多倫多家中，享年六十二歲。經過不斷堅強地與病魔戰鬥，無奈他終於要離開摯愛的妻子朱宜敏﹐女兒頌玲，兒子頌揚，大姐秀金，二姐少英，大妹秀蓮，弟振明，二妹秀貞，三妹秀蓮，一眾子侄和朋友，與祖母鄭眼，父德和，母吳言和三姐秀清在天國重聚。我們會永遠懷念他。

Edward Ka-Keung Ma, 62, peacefully passed away in his sleep on Monday, October 10, 2016 in Toronto, Ontario. He was born February 7, 1954 to Tak-Wo and Yin (Ng) Ma in British Hong Kong.

A family man, loving husband, father, brother and uncle; Edward is survived by his wife Yee-Man Emily, his daughter Michelle Chung-Ling, and his son Mitchell Chung-Yeung; brother Chun-Ming, 5 sisters Sau-Kam Amy (Ma) Tse, Siu-Ying (Ma) Leung, Sau-Ching Queenie (Ma) Lam, Sau-Lin Ann (Ma) Choy of Hong Kong and Sau-Lin Ma of Montreal, Quebec; as well as many nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; and 1 sister Siu-Ching (Ma) Lee.

Edward was a devoted family man, who through his life made many sacrifices to provide a good life for his wife and children. He was also extremely proud of his large extended family brother and sisters, nephews and nieces. A true fighter, especially the last 10 years, he privately and whole-heartedly battle the illness. His strength and determination will always continue to be an inspiration to his family. Edward will be forever loved and missed by his families and friends.
