Juri was born January 31, 1946 in Stockholm, Sweden to the late August Otsason and Saale Leis, immigrants from Estonia. He is survived by his spouse, Bernadine Morris, and son, Rein Otsason.
Juri immigrated to Canada in 1966, and attended the University of Toronto where he received his Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He enjoyed a successful career of 35 years at Enbridge Inc. (formerly Consumers Gas).

A gathering of family, friends, and colleagues will take place on Sunday, October 2 at 1:00 pm at York Cemetery and Funeral Centre, further details can be found under the funeral tab. To honour Juri and to reminisce on the importance he held in many peoples’ lives.
