It is with deep sadness to share that Junior Layne passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Tuesday December 17, 2024, at the age of 65. Predeceased by his parents, Mark Wallace and Irene Layne. Junior will be lovingly remembered as the husband of Maria Patrick-Layne. Father of Abiola, Christon, Jevon, Jadon, and Siobhan. Brother of Cora Ann, Olive, Anita, Roy, Lindwald, Anderson, Arlene, Shirlene, Trevene, and predeceased by Fitzgerald, Ingrid, and Adriene. Grandfather of Addy. Uncle of Marlon, Fitzgerald (Jr.), Shelly Ann, Victoria, Sherry Ann, Keisha, Tโ€™ Jai, Crystyn, Joanne, Jonathan, Akil, Alecquay, Trevon, Tremell, Daevia, and many others. Nephew of Micheal, Horace, Dawn and predeceased by Jean. Son-in-law of Lucille Patrick and predeceased by George Patrick. Father-in-law of Jorge Escalera and Cara Layne. Brother-in-law of Clover, Roseanna, Patricia, Lisa, Pamela, Wendy. Relative of The Francios, Francis, Chang Fong, Stewart, Petch, Grant, Wells, Pope, Hinds, Wallace and Paterson families. Junior will be greatly missed by Tony, Adrian, Mikey, Stephanie, Jill, Rae & Wint, Nester, Abena, the Huggins family, and many others.
