Jung Jin Pak (née Kim) passed away peacefully the morning of Monday, April 25th, 2022, with the love of her family surrounding her.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children Alexander, Kim, and Jane, and their families including grandchildren Mia, Jack, Anna, Ethan and Cameron, as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Jung Jin was predeceased by her husband of 38 years, Mun Hyun (Ron) Pak.

After immigrating to Canada from Korea in the late 1960s, Jung Jin built a life and a family in and around the Toronto area. She loved gardening, cooking, singing, calligraphy, hosting events and spending time with family and friends. She was a golfer and a member of the Hanmaum Seon Won Buddhist temple of Toronto.

A Visitation and Prayer Service will be held at 1PM and 2PM respectively on Saturday, April 30th in the Richmond Hall at Elgin Mills Funeral Centre at 1591 Elgin Mills Road East, Richmond Hill, ON L4S 1M9. In order to keep everyone safe, the family requests that people please wear masks during both the visitation and service.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at the Trillium Mississauga Hospital for their care and compassion.
