In memory of

Julia Maureen MacBrien

August 27, 1957 -  July 1, 2021

It is with great sadness that the family of Julia Maureen MacBrien announces her untimely death of natural causes in Mississauga, Ontario.

Julie was born in Montreal, Quebec, to Joseph and Ann MacBrien. She attended Branksome Hall in Toronto from Grades 7 to 13, graduating in 1976. She went on to study Aerospace Engineering Technology at Ryerson and then worked for De Havilland Aircraft in Toronto. Julie was particularly proud of her contribution to the team that worked on the design and rollout of the Dash 8 aircraft. Later Julie expanded her love of dogs through canine training and boarding in Oakville. Julie was also a talented artist who pursued her passion of the arts, through music, painting and sketching. Her natural talent led her to further studies at the Toronto School of Art.
Julie is preceded in death by her parents, Ann and Joseph MacBrien. She is lovingly remembered by her sisters Jennifer MacBrien (Ernie Fischer), Marian (Murray) McCormick and Susan (Neil) Jarvis and brother William MacBrien; four nieces, two nephews, two great-nieces and one great-nephew.

A small service for immediate family members only will take place at a later date. The family asks that in lieu of cards or flowers, donations be made to the charity of your choice.

Blue skies, Julie.
