It is with sad hearts that we would like to announce the passing of Joyce Paulette Lindsay Uren, who died peacefully, at the Guelph General Hospital on August 29, 2024, at the age of 87. Her husband and best friend, Philip “Phil”, had predeceased her (2014) and they are finally reunited. She is survived by her daughters Susan (late Frank) and Catherine. My deepest sympathies to Joyce's family for this great loss. I enjoyed working with Joyce for years at Medical Mart and also had the pleasure of meeting Phil a number of times when he came for our company BBQ's. I have fond memories of this lovely lady, I'm sure she will be dearly missed.

Joyce was one of the first people I met at Medical Mart and she made me welcome. A few years further on I was privileged to be on Phil's email list and attend a couple of get togethers. Joyce never quit. When she had trouble walking she got a scooter.
