In memory of

Joshua Daniel Uren

September 7, 1975 -  September 26, 2022

Joshua passed away peacefully on September 26, 2022 at the age of 47, with his loving family by his side. Joshua was a beloved husband of 20 years, to his wife Laura that he loved very much. He is survived by his loving parents Donna Uren, Paul (Shelly) Uren, his sisters Naomi, and Jael (Paul) Brown. He also loved his nieces Taylor (Alessandro) Paternostro, Sydney Brown, and his nephew Mateo Cordeiro. He will be dearly missed by his in-laws, Cesar and Maria Cordeiro, as well as Tony & Sandy Cordeiro along with many other uncles, aunts and cousin, and many of his dear friends.
Joshua was known as a person who stayed very busy. He loved to travel with Laura and spend time with his family. One of his passions was playing music on his turntables out loud. He was a hard worker as an electrician for the past 22 years, but also was very skillful in other trades.
He is remembered for his hospitality and openhearted generous spirit. He loved cooking and trying new recipes. Joshua’s great love for Jehovah helped him endure his illness and he passed away faithfully with his hope in the resurrection firm.
The family would like to thank the many doctors, nurses, and all the personal support workers who cared for Joshua these past 6 months.
A Memorial service will be held on October 15th, 2022, details will be shared with Family and Friends.

I will keep in my mind and heart the fun times of yesteryear we had. Josh had an infectious energy and a grin that matched it... I am among a large number no doubt that will await the time where we can enjoy the real life together as friends, again, but forever, without sickness or the stresses that hold us back now...
To his dear wife, I'm so glad Josh had you there by his side. The care and support you gave no doubt brought Josh great comfort, for that I must say thank you. I feel terrible I couldn't come to visit before he passed. Please forgive me.
To momma. I love you so much, I'll always be here for you....

Our dear Laura, we are so deeply sorry for your loss. Words can’t express the pain we feel for you. You are truly a strong woman and loving wife. I know Josh was happy to have you by his side these past few months. It was not easy but, Jehovah gave you the strength to do it. Now we wait for him to wake up from this sleep. We have lots to share with him. Job 14:15
