Joseph Martin Duncan McIntyre

January 8, 1932 -  February 7, 2021

Joe McIntyre passed away Sunday February 7th 2021 at approximately 1:45am. He passed away in the Veterans Centre in SunnyBrook Health Sciences Centre, as he was a Veteran of the Korean War. He will be greatly missed by his family. Son (Marty McIntrye) and Wife (Tammy McIntyre), Grandchildren (Brian and Laura McIntyre). Daughter (Laurie Burge), Granddaughter (Jessica and Husband Mark Kelders) and Great-Grandchildren (Reece and Evelyn [Evie] Kelders), Grandson (Cody Burge) and Granddaughter (Caleigh Burge). Daughter (Lisa and Husband Dave Foy) and grandson (Matthew Ogilvie). After suffering 4 debilitating strokes and suffering from multiple heart arrhythmia's, he was well cared for at Sunnybrook by all of the wonderful staff. He had passed on peacefully in his sleep and is reuniting with his late wife Betty. He will be greatly missed.

Dear Joe: I know you will be terribly missed by your entire family :( . You and Betty treated me like one of your own . Thank you for that . I’m greatful for all the parties you graciously hosted ;) I asked God to welcome you home with open arms. Please give Betty a great big hug for me.
